Solomon Alva is working as Antibody Purification Group Head | Senior Scientific Manager at Biocon. He has 10 years of experience in biotechnology field at Biocon. I would like to be part of an organization that creates unmet and affordable healthcare. Currently, antibody purification group head at Biocon's R&D division. With 10+ years of experience in novel biologics and biosimilar development. An SME in bio separation technologies with extensive experience in early stage process development, scale-up, technology transfer, and process characterization. Instrumental in developing and characterizing the purification platform approach for biosimilar mAbs at Biocon. Downstream lead from R&D for process validation. In depth knowledge and experience in regulatory requirements for filing Biologics in US and Europre (authoring/review of dossier and responses for Information Requests), and subsequent Pre-Approval Inspections. Additionally, driving the continuous processing technology efforts within Biocon. Proven expertise in alliance management with strong communication skills, leading multiple cross-functional initiatives at Biocon. Steering the academia-industry collaboration efforts in purification projects for RND. An accomplished group lead, mentoring and guiding a team of 25+ scientists and managers.
