Biography

Shipra drives the research and various collaborations with academic and research institutes at BioCOS Life Sciences. • Recently, her work in the areas of systems based biology and high throughput data analysis research has led to the identification of novel candidate genes and drug targets in Diabetes II, Obesity/ Metabolic syndrome, Glioma and Malaria. • She serves as peer reviewer of research articles in many journals like Bioinformatics, Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica (Oxford Press), BMC Theoretical Biology, BMC Medical Genomics (BMC Journals), Journal of Artificial Intelligence (Springer publication), and In Silico Biology etc. •Goal: With our tools, databases and expertise - work with molecular diagnostic companies, pharma companies, and eminent research groups.

Research Interest

 She develops a number of methods, applications and analysis tools in the areas of small interfering RNAs, and diabetes II
