Krishan L. Kalra

Biography

 Dr. Kalra is the CEO and Founder of BioGenex and has more than 30 years of experience in organizational leadership, business management and technology innovation. He was a senior management executive at Abbott and Bio-Rad before founding BioGenex. A scientist at heart, Dr. Kalra is the author of numerous scientific publications and the inventor of over 50 US and foreign patents in the field of automated systems, biological tools for translational and clinical research and molecular diagnostics. He was also a Scientific Officer and an Assistant Professor at the University of Rajasthan. As a business leader, he was a founding member and the first globalization chair of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) in which he currently serves as a charter member. He has also served its Board of Trustees for three additional years. Dr. Kalra received his M.S. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Rajasthan and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois.
