Biography
Mr.Parakh is a highly experienced and respected business professional and is considered a visionary amongst his peers. He currently holds the position of Managing Director, Finance, Saud Bahwan Group, Muscat (Oman). His dynamic leadership over three decades has played a key role in the success of the firm and its rise . Over the last more than three decades, he has successfully displayed the best of his dynamism and visionary leadership in one of the largest trading houses in the Middle East, with an annual turnover of US$ 5 billion. Mr. Parakh has played a key role in growth of India-Oman bilateralism. He is also a supporter of several humanitarian causes. Mr. Parakh is an icon in the expatriate Indian business community. Mr. Parakh trained as a Chartered Accountant before embarking on a career in management. He obtained his Chartered Accountancy in 1971 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Bombay.
