Biography
Dr. (Mrs.) Jyoti Srivastava is presently working as Scientist ‘C’ at Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences loacted at Lucknow, India. Dr. (Mrs.) Jyoti Srivastava completed her PhD in Botany from Lucknow University (awarded in July 2013) with specialization in Quaternary Palynology and Coastal ecosystem. Research topic for the doctoral degree entitles “Late Quaternary Palynochronostratigraphy in North- eastern part of Cauvery delta: Implications in palaeoclimatic and sea-level studies” and MSc. in Botany from Department of Botany, Centre of Advanced Study, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2006 (Gold Medalist). She Qualified CSIR NET.

Research Interest : Quaternary palynology and palaeoclimate with special reference to mangroves; Palaeoecology, Coastal and estuarine ecosystem; Sea level studies
