Dr. (Mrs.) Poonam Verma is presently working as Scientist ‘C’ at Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences loacted at Lucknow, India. Dr. (Mrs.) Poonam Verma completed her Ph.D. in Geology from University of Lucknow in 2011. She received many prestigious awards : ‘State Child Scientist from Indian’; Business Professional Programmer'; etc.
Research Interest
Area of interest: Quaternary and Tertiary palaeopalynological studies For palaeovegetation and palaeoclimate delineation; To develop biostratigraphy; Palaeoecology and paleoenvironmental studies.
