His research interest includes Spatio-temporal temperature and hydro-climate reconstruction using Tree-rings, Climate Field Reconstruction, Quaternary Palaeovegetation and Palaeoclimate study using Palynology, Quantitative Climate Reconstruction using Palynology, Temporal and Spatial Multivariate Statistical Analysis, Himalaya, Nepal (Central Himalaya) and Northeast India Department of Palaeobotany.
