M S Sekhar

Biography

M.S Sekhar is the Senior Vice President & Head - Risk & Compliance. In this role, Sekhar is engaged in managing the affairs of the CRM function. This includes developing the systems for risk analysis for credit proposals, risk mitigation & documentation, sanctioning the loans & ensuring effective portfolio monitoring during the credit life cycle. Before joining ABFL, Sekhar worked at HSBC Bank, where he was responsible for appraising and assessing risks for lending proposals and according approvals covering SME, Mid markets and Large Corporates. He was also responsible for finalizing policies and setting up processes for Underwriting. Prior to joining HSBC, Sekhar had a long stint at State Bank of India. His work experience also included Kotak Mahindra and IDBI. Sekhar has done his M.com from Delhi University, A I C W A from the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India, and C A I I B from Indian Institute of Bankers.
