Biography
Amol Holkundkar has done my M.Sc. from Mumbai University (MU) in 2004 and Ph.D. from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) under a MU-BARC PhD program in 2010. Later he joined Department of Physics, Umea University, Sweden as a postdoctoral researcher for 2 years. Immediately after the completion of postdoctoral work and joined BITS-Pilani as a Assistant Professor. His research interests are mainly to study the dynamics of laser interaction with atomic clusters, preformed plasma, wakefield generation, particle acceleration in plasma, charge particle dynamics and simulation using particle-in-cell, molecular dynamics.
Research Interest
Radiation Reactionm, Laser interaction with atomic clusters, Laser interaction with solid targets, Laser induced particle acceleration, Wakefield generation in plasmas, Charge particle dynamics in EM field, Particle-in-cell simulations, Molecular Dynamics, Hydrodynamics.
