Biography
Dr. B.Vani was a Post Graduate in Biological Sciences from Jamia Millia Islamia in 1992 and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, under the joint guidance of Prof. P. Pardha Saradhi, Jamia Millia Islamia and Prof. Prasanna Mohanty, Jawaharlal Nehru University, in 1999. She worked as a Research Associate in Department of Molecular Biology, Delhi University, South Campus; School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University - New Delhi; Department of Biochemistry, I I Sc., Bangalore; Department of Biochemistry, IARI, New Delhi and School of Biotechnology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. She joined as a Lecturer in Department of Biological Sciences, BITS Pilani in 2005 and presently working as an Assistant Professor since 2008 in Pilani Campus.
Research Interest
Nitrate Assimilatory Mechanism in Spirulina Platensis, a well known Cyanobacteria.
