Biography
Dr. Dalip Kumar is currently working as Professor, Department of Chemistry , Birla Institute of Science & Technology, Pilani. The research in his group focuses mainly on organic and medicinal chemistry. His group members are investigating novel anticancer compounds and ascertaining there mechanism of action and also involved in designing and synthesis of PDE4 inhibitors. His group members are so far successful in synthesising active molecules that are patentable. His research work is related to Design and Synthesis of Novel Anticancer Compounds, Design and Synthesis of Novel PDE4 Inhibitors, Multicomponent Reactions in the Synthesis of Bioactive Heterocycles, Design and Synthesis of Novel Porphyrin Conjugates in Radiolabelled DNA Binding Studies.
