Biography
Dr. I. R. Laskar is Associate Professor at Department of Chemistry, Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani. He completed Ph. D. degree in Inorganic chemistry from IACS, Kolkata, He did his Post-doctoral (JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow ) research work at Kochi University, Japan April, 2006 – March, 2008, NCTU Taiwan, April, 2002 – March, 2006 and NTHU, Taiwan, July, 2001 – Feb., 2002. He was working as Lecturer Ananda Mohan College (affiliated to University of Calcutta), Kolkata, Sept., 1999 – July, 2001 before joining BITS, Pilani, Pilani-campus.
Research Interest
Strategic syntheses of 'aggregation induced emission (AIE)' active organic/inorganic complex materials multi-stimuli responsive materials;Vapoluminescent materials;Mechanochromic materials;Materials for organic light emitting materials;Materials for Bio-imaging and anti cancer drug;DFT and TD-DFT based calculations to explore the mechanism of AIE activity and the detailed excited state properties.
