Biography
S. Sindhu is currently working as associate Professor, Dept of Physics, BITS Pilani, Rajasthan, and Associate Dean, Practice School Division, BITS Pilani Professional Development Center, Bangalore. His research interest has combined experimental work with theoretical analysis. In the experimental part, the focus was on surface science and materials. In the theoretical part the interest was in lattice dynamics and magnetic properties. For the last 6 years I am working on experimental condensed matter physics. His research work includes Fabrication of molecular electronic devices mainly electrochromic devices using conducting polymers, Synthesis and characterization of conducting polymers, Fabrication of Organic light emittng polymers, Fabrication of solar cells, Fabrication of Magnetic nanostructures for information storage technology, Building of toroidal electron energy analyzer for surface studies. Thin film deposition and characterization and surface investigations like LEED, AUGER, ARUPS.
