Biography
Cindy Wallis-Lage is President of Black & Veatch’s water business, leading more than 2,500 professionals in over 75 offices worldwide. Wallis-Lage joined the company in 1986 and is well known in the water industry for her expertise in water reuse and treatment. Wallis-Lage has been involved in more than 100 projects around the world in both the municipal and industrial sectors. Wallis-Lage joined the Black & Veatch Board of Directors in 2012. She serves currently on the Board of Directors for the US Water Alliance, the Board of Directors for the Water Environment & Reuse Foundation, and the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NW Missouri. Wallis-Lage earned her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Kansas State University and her master’s degree in environmental health engineering from the University of Kansas. She currently serves on the Engineering Advisory Council at Kansas State University.
