Biography

  Cancer does not discriminate. Neither does the hospital. CCHRC provides cutting-edge cancer care for adults and children despite their socio-economic status. The CCHRC team of healthcare professionals is with the patients- right from their admission, through the treatment-caring for them, helping them make relevant decisions and assisting them and their families approach cancer with confidence. The hospital’s medical team consists of 9 full time physicians:- ·         3 surgical oncologists ·         1 radiation oncologist ·         1 medical oncologist ·         1 palliative care physician ·         1 pathologist ·         1 dental surgeon and a blood bank medical officer In addition to these specialists, there are 5 part time doctors- a pathologist, a dental surgeon, an ENT surgeon, an anesthesiologist and a general surgeon. They are ably aided by 11 nurses and 41 health workers, 16 technologists and technicians, a physiotherapist, a pharmacist, 2 system administrators and other support staff.
