Biography
Dr. Subbaiah Singala has been working with RBI for the last 20 years and is presently a General Manger with Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad, heading the Financial Inclusion and Development Department. He has also worked as Professor in Banking and Finance in Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad on deputation during 2008-11. Dr. Subbaiah holds Ph. D in Management and has also completed a Master degree in Public Management from National University of Singapore and Harvard University, where he was awarded gold medal for his thesis on financial stability. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). He has co-authored a book on Indian Economy and has published several articles. Prior to joining RBI, Dr. Subbaiah served Osmania University during 1994-96 as a Lecturer in Business Management. Net Banking
