Biography
Dr. Niti Kumar is currently a Scientist in the department of Parasitology CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow 226031, India. She is interested to understand the protein quality control processes adopted by a cell during stress and infection. We are using different biological systems to decipher the cross-talk between components of protein folding, degradation and ribosomal machinery which helps to maintain cellular homeostasis.

Understanding the protein folding and degradation machinery of host and parasite, Investigating the Extra-ribosomal functions of Ribosomal proteins during Stress and Infection.
