Biography

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Jha is currently a Scientist in the department of Endocrinology CSIR Central drug research Institute Lucknow India. He published more than 20 research articles. He focus to understand some of the causes of female reproductive disorders such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS/PCO), premature ovarian failure (POF/POI) and endometriosis using molecular biology tools. The clinical parameters are also being investigated in association with the Gynecologist at KGMU, Lucknow and BHU, Varanasi. Additionaly, we are exploring the drug biology in association with chemist to exploit the agents to manage above female infertility contributing pathophysiology. Along with these investigations, we are also looking biochemical markers of the uterine receptivity for the pregnancy establishment, which will help us to identify the potential targets. Endometrium also receives threat by the metabolic and endocrine anomalies, which deteriorates the probability of conception along other health related issue such as endometriosis leading the gynecological complications. In this context, we are working on the cellular mechanism to understand the progression of endometriosis using rodent model and in vitro models.
