Biography
Dr. S. M. Rajendran has have been involved in two ongoing projects of CDRI namely Natural Products (NP-0005); Biological Screening (BS-0006) programme and Novo-Nordic sponsored project. Planning field survey studies for medicinal plant collection from various geographical regions. Management of regular administrative work related to department as well as maintenance and updating of CDRI Herbarium from time to time. Having exposure of OECD GLP- Principles and guidelines for GLP Compliance for the past 4 years now he is looking after Central Archives and Document Control Unit (CADC- Unit) under CDRI GLP compliance work.
Research Interest
His main research interests are in Plant Taxonomy, Field survey on Ethnobotany special refernce to Tamil Nadu and Playing as team member in GLP Compliance committee of CDRI for GLP compliance work.
