Biography
Dr. Ashok Kumar Maurya is currently a Technical Officer in the Department of Dept. of Food Safety & Analytical Quality Control Laboratory (FSAQCL) Central Food Technological Research Institute, India. He completed B.Sc. (Zoology, Botany and Chemistry), M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) and Ph.D (Pesticide Residue Chemistry) - Thesis entitled “Adsorption - Desorption and Leaching Behavior of Carbofuran and Chlorpyrifos Pesticides in Different Soils of U.P” India.
Research Interest
Laboratory and field-based studies monitoring the environmental fate of pesticides in food , soil and water, Assessment and quantification of toxicants/contaminants in the Food commodities, Instrumental analysis (GC-ECD/FPD/NPD/FID, HPLC-UV/PDA/Fluorescence/RI, GC-MS/MS, Elisa, LC-MS/MS etc), Development and validation of analytical methods using chromatography techniques.
