Dr. M.V.R.K Sarma is currently a Scientist in the Department Microbiology and Fermentation technology Central Food Technological Research Institute, India. He completed B.E (Hons.)in Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani Chemical Engineering M.E in Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani Biotechnologyand Ph.D. in Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi Biochemical Engg. & Biotechnology.

Engineering of Saccharomyces cerevisiae for synthesis of terpenes Development of process for Isomaltoologosaccharide synthesis using heterologous host Constraint-based reconstruction and analysis (COBRA) for strain design.
