Dr. Pooja J. A. Rao is currently a Junior Scientist in the Department of Spice and Flavour Science Central Food Technological Research Institute, India. She B. Sc.from Devi Ahilya Vishvavidhyalaya, Indore (M.P.) in 1995, M. Sc. : Specialization in “Organic Chemistry” from Devi Ahilya Vishvavidhyalaya, Indore (M.P.) in 1997 and Ph.D : Chemistry 2006 (Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi/ National Physical Laboratory, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi.
