Biography
Mr. Devendra J. Haware is currently a Senior Scientist in the Department of Dept. of Food Safety & Analytical Quality Control Laboratory (FSAQCL) Central Food Technological Research Institute, India. He completed B.Sc. in Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, University of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Elective paper Environmental Chemistry from University of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India and Submitted Ph.D. Thesis at RTM Nagpur University Title: Feasibility and Health Risk Assessment Studies of Heavy Metal (HM) in Food and Water. Under the Supervision of Dr. Farhin Inam, Professor, Institute of Science, Nagpur & Dr. D.S. Ramteke, Chief Scientist, EIRA Division, CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur.
Research Interest
Monitoring the safety and quality of various food and food products received at the appellate levels from various trying courts as well as from Port Health Authorities. Developing / determination of food constituents and food additives, toxicants and contaminates, immunoassay method for the detection of toxic metals ions in environment water and food sample.
