Biography
Nanishankar V. Harohally is currently a Senior Scientist in the Department of Spice and Flavour Science Central Food Technological Research Institute, India. He completed B.Sc. (PCM), Bangalore University M.Sc in Chemistry from Bangalore University Ph.D. in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore Postdoctoral fellow, Chemistry and Biochemistry Department, University of Maryland, College Park, USA.
Research Interest
Chemistry of interesting Spice and Flavor molecules, Carbohydrate Chemistry, Application of NMR Spectroscopy to solve interesting chemistry and food science problems, NIR and IR based method development for food analytics, Homogeneous catalysis, Nano materials, Heterocyclic chemistry.
