Biography
Ravi Kumar has finished his PhD from Molecular biophysics unit of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. During his PhD, he has worked on mycobacterial transcription factors andstudied their structural as well as biochemical aspects of transcription regulation. Currently he is employed as an scientist in CFTRI with expertise in structural biology, molecular biology and protein chemistry. He was awarded DST-INSPIRE faculty award (2014), Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi.

His research area includes understanding the mechanism of chromosomal partitioning in bacteria
