Biography
Dr. Amarnath R. Allu is currently a Scientist in the department of Glass Science & Technology Section CSIR Central glass and ceramic research institute India. He completed M.Sc. (Physics), Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh and PhD (Materials Science and Engineering), University of Aveiro, Aveiro, Portugal. He was recognised A project proposal titled “Self-healing glass/glass-ceramic seals for solid oxide fuel cells” has been granted with rank-2 by JECS trust – Frontier of research -2012 (No: 201242-2), PhD grant was received from Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), My article titled “Bi-layer glass-ceramic sealant for solid oxide fuel cells”, published in Journal of European ceramic society, has been recognized as a key Scientific Article contributing to the excellence in Energy research by Renewable Energy Global Innovations.
Research Interest
Development and production of special/new functional glasses and glass-ceramics for photonic, energy and biomedical applications.
