Biography
Dr. Anoop Kumar Mukhopadhyay is currently a Chief Scientist and head in the department of Advanced Mechanical and Materials Characterization Division CSIR Central glass and ceramic research institute India. He completed B.Sc. (Physics Hons.), 1978, University of Kalyani, M.Sc. (Physics), 1982, Jadavpur University and Ph.D. (Science), 1988, Jadavpur University.
Research Interest
Physics of deformation and fracture of brittle solids, shock physics of ceramics, tribology, nanoindentation behaviour and nanotribology of ceramics, ceramic coatings and thin films, microwave processing of ceramics and glass ceramic coating.
