Biography
Dr. Debashri Ghosh is currently a Senior Scientist in the department of Fiber Optics & Photonics Division CSIR Central glass and ceramic research institute India. She completed B.Sc. Hons. (Physics), University of Burdwan, M.S. . (Applied Physics), Bengal Engineering and Science University and Ph.D. (Science), Jadavpur University. She is awarded CSIR Technology award for Innovation - 2015 for ‘Development of completely packaged all-fiber Supercontinuum light source’, Dr. Debabrata Basu Memorial Award for the Best young researcher at CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata in 2012, Research Associateship by CSIR, Govt. of India in 2012.

Nonlinear Optics and Soliton dynamics; Photonic crystal fibers; Supercontinuum generation; Plasmonics and Metamaterials.
