Biography
Dr. Shrabanee Sen is currently a Senior Scientist in the department Sensor and Actuator Division CSIR Central glass and ceramic research institute India. She completed B.Sc: (1999, Physics), Visva -Bharati University, M.Sc. (2001, Physics), Visva -Bharati University and Ph.D. (2005, Physics), I.I.T Kharagpur. She got Second Best In-house Project in 2006-2007 by National Metallurgical Laboratory, Best technical presentation Prize in Conference of Research Scholars on Materials Science and Eng, (2003). I.I.T Kharagpur.
Research Interest
AREA OF SPECIALIZATION: Materials Science and Technology Synthesis, Characterization and Applications of Piezoelectric materials, Multiferroics for actuator applications, Development of hard coatings for automobile applications., Development of nanocomposites for application as nanogenertaors, Development of multiferroics for gas/VOCs sensors.
