Biography
Mrinal Pal is a Post-doctoral fellow University of Roma, Italy, in 1998 (Four months). Post-doctoral fellow (STA) Japan, 1998-2000. CSIR-RA in India, 2000-2002. Joined in the Department of Physics of The University of Burdwan in 2002 (May) as a Lecturer. Served as a Senior Lecturer during 2006 (May) -2010 (March) in the same Department. Joined as Principal Scientist in the CAMP division at CMERI durgapur in 2010 (March). (PB-4) Joined as Principal Scientist in the Sensor & Actuator division at CGCRI, Kolkata in 2014 (May).
Research Interest
Nanostructure semiconductor gas sensors, Gas sensor towards human breath analysis for monitoring health, Multiferroic and magnetic nanocomposites, Spintornics materials, Glass, Glass-ceramic, Inorganic-organic hybrid nanocomposites.
