Omprakash Chakrabarti is a Best poster presentation award by Indian Ceramic Society for presentation of the paper named “Cellular Silicon Carbide Ceramics from plant precursor†in its 66th Annual Session held in the year 2003 Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) award for research visit in Germany in the year 2003 Certificate of Merit awarded in the Leadership Development Program by CSIR, India, in the year 2008 Centenary Visiting Scientist Award for research stay at the Department of Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in the year 2011
