Samar Kumar Medda has started as Jr. Scientist from January 31, 2006 to January 30, 2009 (CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata). Scientist from January 31, 2009 to January 30, 2014 (CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata). Sr. Scientist from January 31, 2014 to continuing (CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata).
Research Interest
Research and development of scratch resistant hard and AR coatings on plastic substrates, hydrophobic/superhydrophobic coatings on glass, plastic and metals, and metal doped optical coatings for solar glass applications. Optical, electrical and magnetic properties of nanocomposites. nanocomposite dielectric thin films, ordered mesoporous coatings coloured coatings, conductive coatings. semiconductor nanoparticles, nonlinear optical materials and nanocomposite materials for optical and electronic device applications.
