Biography
Sathravada Balaji is currently a Scientist in the department of Glass Division CSIR Central glass and ceramic research institute India. He completed B.Sc. (Computer Science, 2003), S.V.University, Tirupati, M.Sc. (Physics, 2005), VIT University, Vellore and M.Phil. (Spectroscopy, 2006), VIT University, Vellore.
Research Interest
Material Science with special references to evaluation of Optical and Spectroscopic properties of Rare earth and Transition metal ions doped Glasses, Glass-Ceramics for various technological applications like solid state lasers, energy storage devices, energy up and down converters for efficient solar energy extraction and highly semi conducting Glass-composites for electronic/opto-electronic applications. Optical Refrigeration by Anti-Stokes luminescence in low phonon glasses.
