Siddhartha Bandyopadhyay is a Chief Scientist and Head in Bioceramics & Coating Division from central glass and ceramic research institute.
Research Interest
Advanced materials based on non oxide ceramics. Opened up a new area of research in our country, called oxynitride ceramics. Studies include phase relationships, formation mechanisms, optical & thermo-mechanical properties, component developments for wear, thermo-mechanical & optical applications.
