Tarun Kumar Gangopadhyay is a Senior Principal Scientist CSIR-CGCRI Since July 2013
Research Interest
Optical Fibre Sensor & Fibre optics with special interest on development of sensor technology for the detection of chemical species in liquid/ gas phase using fibre-loop resonators / FBG based resonators, development of chemical sensors using Microstructure Optical Fibre (MOF) for detection of chemical species, biomedical sensors, packaging of fibre-sensors and characterization.
