Biography
Dr. Md. Sayem Alam joined in Industrial Chemistry Laboratory, CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), Chennai, India as a Scientist on January, 2011. He received Ph.D. in Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. Dr. Md. Sayem Alam’s research focus is on the Synthesis of Surfactants their Application. The lab pursues a broad range of research that includes Synthesis of Surfactants, Colloid & Surface Science, Biophysical Chemistry, Nano-Science and Nano-Technology, Applied & Industrial Chemistry, Leather Chemicals, etc. He is a recognized guide in Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), New Delhi, India, Anna University, Chennai, India and University of Madras, Chennai, India. Dr. Md. Sayem Alam is a scientist with a strong commitment to the cause of his profession, particularly, in the field of Colloids and Surface Sciences/Physical Chemistry/ Biophysical Chemistry
