Biography
Dr.Yasmin Khambhaty,Scientist at CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute. she Possess thirteen years of research experience in various aspects related to marine and environmental microbiology: Studies on seaweed polysaccharide degrading enzymes from marine bacteria (agarase, carrageenase), effect of pollutants on quality and quantity of pathogenic and non pathogenic microbial flora, bioremediation of pollutants using marine fungi and bacteria, studies on microbial community associated with seawater desalination membranes, studies on biofuels from marine macroalgae using acidic as well as enzymatic hydrolysis
