Dr. Arun Kumar Shanker, Principal Scientist (Plant Physiology) &Officer-in-charge of Library at Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture. He was Life member and Founder member, Indian Society of Agroforestry, Life member, Indian Society for Plant Physiology, Life member, International Society of Environmental Botanists. He received Gold medal for the best student in Crop Physiology
