Biography
Dr. P.Vijaya Kumar was a life member of Association of Agrometeorologists. He was awarded TRIL fellowship by International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Italy. He was a reviewer for International Journals like International Journal of Remote Sensing.He was partly involved in teaching and training activities For 21 years, He was involved in Coordinating activities of 2 network projects having 23 to 25 cooperating centers at different agroclimatic regions of the country, out of which 6 years in All India Coordinated Research Project on Dryland Agriculture (AICRPDA) and 15 years in All India Coordinated Research Project on Agricultural Meteorology (AICRPAM). In these coordinating projects, he was involved in monitoring of research activities, organizing workshops and working group meetings, compilation of results of cooperating centers and writing of reports et
