Biography
Rice may be transplanted on 1st July to realize higher yield (3.63 t/ha) and IWP (0.591 kg/m3 ) by following 5 DAD after 1 month of transplanting. ï‚· Wheat can be sown on 20 November with irrigation schedule of IW/CPE=1.0 to realize maximum yield (6.82 t/ha). ï‚· Estimated carbon sequestration rate for Populus deltoides and Eucalyptus tereticornis block plantation. ï‚· Determined aggregated carbon with soil particles for Populus deltoides and Eucalyptus tereticornis block plantation. ï‚· Identified remunerative Populus deltoides and Eucalyptus tereticornis based agroforestry systems for improving soil carbon stock. ï‚· Identified drivers (nutrient, tillage and residue management) in maize-wheat-greengram and rice-wheat cropping systems for increasing the soil organic carbon stock and mitigating the adverse effect of climate change. ï‚· Standardized the agronomic requirements of potato varieties meant for processing purposes (chips, French fry, flakes etc.)
Research Interest
