Biography
Anupama has a Masters in English (2003) from the University of Victoria, and an M.Phil in English (1998) and a Masters in English (1997) from the University of Hyderabad. Her M.Phil dissertation, An Analysis of The Making of Americans: Gertrude Steins Usable Past, explored questions of identity and repetition in Gertrude Steins early fiction. Her specializations are 20th C. American Literature, Modernism, and Psychoanalysis. She has taught/ co-taught the following courses: Literature and Social Imagination, From the Restoration to the Romantics, Literature of the Victorian Period, American Literature, Trends in Contemporary Literature, and Literary Criticism and Theory (20th C.).
