Academic Profile: ï‚· Gold Medalist in Masters of Education, ï‚· Ph.D. in Education. ï‚· More than 35 years at M.A / M.Ed / M.Phil. Level/ Pre - Ph.D. ï‚· Ph.D. guidance: guided 20 Ph.D. students and another 5 are still working ï‚· Professor (since1999), Former Head & Dean, Faculty Of Education, University of Jammu. ï‚· Academic Coordinator in Central University of Jammu since Januray, 2015. ï‚· Heading the Department of Educational Studies, Central University of Jammu since April, 2015. Previous Affiliations: ï‚· Worked as Dean and Head, Dept. of Education, University of Jammu for about 6 years ï‚· Worked as Chief Coordinator, Campuses ï‚· Worked as Controller of examination ï‚· Worked as Provost, Hostels two times ï‚· Was elected as Member, Syndicate ï‚· Worked as Director, Academic Staff College, Sports and Physical education ï‚· Worked as Chairman, Campus Sports and NSS ï‚· Associated with various academic bodies like NAAC, NCTE, UGC, ICSSR and different Universities as Member, Board of Studies, Academic Council, INTEL, Selection Committees as expert ï‚· Books: author of 5 books ï‚· Projects: Completed 5 projects funded by national agencies. ï‚· Delivered lectures in Academic Staff College since 1999 and organized General Orientation Course/ Refresher Course in Education. ï‚· Seminars/Conferences: Participated in numerous seminars at national level and chaired many sessions, delivered inaugural and valedictory address, acted as keynote speaker in number of seminars.
