Biography

Having enriched experience in knowledge management, research design, research tool development, interactive MIS (Management Information System), program management, GIS and remote sensing, data modeling, monitoring and assessment I served broader public health concerns. My expertise in health system analytic, nutritional surveillance, malnutrition, food security, health care seeking behavior assessment and eco-system services framework has been acknowledged widely. Participatory Rapid Appraisals cuts across diverse states and action research on social determinants and equity issues in health at urban centers such as Mumbai and Delhi have strengthened my expertise in the domain. Mainly I work on equity in health care provisioning and its access as well as on social determinants of health. Experience with national and global partners is academia as well as in development sector adds more value to the profile. Realizing the need of information management systems for efficient modeling, monitoring and evidence based planning, I equipped myself with skills to simplify dense conceptual concepts and multi-variate findings into simple info-graphic narrative. Committed to information and knowledge dissemination, I also curated knowledge platforms i.e. national, international conferences, workshops and symposiums as well as curated the resource groups on virtual knowledge-management platforms.
