Biography
Dr. Sreebitha P. V Assistant Professor Department of English Dr. Sreebitha PV teaches at the Department of English, Central University of Karnataka, India. Prior to joining the university, she worked as Asst. Professor (Ad-hoc) at Sree Ram College of Commerce and Motilal Nehru College, Delhi University. Her Ph D (The Making of ‘Ezhava’: Caste, Communities and Gender among North Malabar Thiyyas and Thiruvithamkoor Ezhavas) and M Phil (Questions of Sexuality: A Critique of Lalithambika Antherjanam’s Select Writings) was from the University of Hyderabad. Her current research interests include Gender and Sexuality, Cultural Studies, Kerala Studies, and Indian Literatures. She was awarded short-term Papiya Ghosh Memorial Fund Fellowship of CSSS, Kolkata from September 2009 to February 2010. She was a short term fellow at Anveshi Women’s Studies Research Centre at Hyderabad for the year 2006-2007.
