Biography
Dr. Khalid Sultan is working as an Assistant Professor in the DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS, Central University of Kashmir, India.Fellowships and Awards ï‚· Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Jointly conducted by CSIR June 2014 and UGC with all India ranking 132. ï‚· National Eligibility Test (NET) Jointly conducted by CSIR Dec. 2014 and UGC with all India ranking 33. ï‚· Best Paper Award Received Best Oral Presentation Award at Science Congress in 2013 at University of Kashmir. ï‚· ï‚· Selected one among Six Ph.D outstanding students from all over India to meet Honorable president of India on presidents invitation at Rashtrapati Bhavan and was felicitated by Honorable president of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee.
Research Interest
1. Synthesis, Characterization of Rare Earth Transition Metal Oxide Systems and Their Irradiation Study. 2. Electric, Transport, Dielectric and Magnetic measurements. 3. X-ray absorption measurements, Atomic force microscope, SEM – EDAX and Raman Spectroscopy. 4. Swift Heavy Ion Irradiation Study.
