Biography
Dr Nusrat Jabeen is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department. She has started her career as lecturer of Urdu in the Department of School Education, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir in the year 2008. In view of her academic credentials and vibrancy, she got appointed as Assistant Professor Urdu in Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir on 25/02/2010 after qualifying State Public Service Commission. Another elevation was destined to her for becoming the family member of Central University of Kashmir as Assistant Professor in the Department of Urdu in 2012. Dr Nusrat has a good academic record as she has qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) and State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) after qualifying Masters in Urdu from the Department of Urdu, University of Kashmir. She did her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) from a prestigious research institute called Iqbal Institute of Culture of Philosophy, University of Kashmir on Iqbal’s concept of feminism.
