Dr. Suhail Ahmad

Biography

Suhail Ahmad taught at Media Education Research Centre (MERC) of Kashmir University for four years from 2010 to 2014 before joining Department of Convergent Journalism, Central University of Kashmir. Suhail comes with a field experience of around 9 years. He has worked with several Srinagar-based English newspapers including ‘Rising Kashmir’ as Deputy Editor, ‘Mirror of Kashmir’ as Associate Editor and ‘Daily Etalaat’ as Sub Editor (News). He writes a weekly column ‘Hindsight’ for Rising Kashmir. Suhail has also worked with couple of Delhi-based NGOs, as Program Associate with ‘The Other Media’ and Programme Officer/Editor with ‘Institute of Peace Research and Action (IPRA)’.
