Prof. M. Nayyar Azim is working as Head and Dean in the Department of Animal Sciences (Zoology),Central University of Kashmir, India. His ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES: ï‚§ Associated with committees to revise and reframe the syllabi for undergraduate and postgraduate courses ï‚§ Acted as Resource person in Refresher courses (i). conducted by Department of Zoology, University of Kashmir, Srinagar. (ii). Conducted by Department of Environmental sciences, K.U., Sgr. ï‚§ Associated with examinations theory and practicals conducted by University of Kashmir, Srinagar & Aligarh MuslimUniversity, Aligarh ï‚§ Acted as member of Departmental Committee. ï‚§ Associated with Confidential matters assigned by the University of Kashmir, Srinagar. ï‚§ Acted as Refree to go through the manuscripts submitted for publication in many Journals and books. ï‚§ Acted as member of local fund committee for smooth functioning of the department. 7 ï‚§ Acted as Incharge of Seminar lectures of M. Sc. Class. Seminar Lecture is an essential component of M. Sc. Programme. INSECT PLANT INTERACTION WITH REFERENCE TO CRUCIFEROUS AND SOLANACEOUS CROP PESTS. 6. TAXONOMY AND EPIDEMIOLOGY OF VETERINARY IMPORTANT ACARINA. 7. CHEMICAL SECRETIONS AND THEIR EFFECTS ON INSECT BEHAVIOUR ESPECIALLY IN PENTATOMID BUGS. 8. HOST PLANT PREFERENCES AND THEIR EFFECTS ON THE BIOLOGY OF SOME MAJOR INSECT PESTS.  DISCOVERY OF NEW TAXA: TAXONOMY OF PENTATOMID BUGS (a). Proposed TWO new tribes in the subfamily Pentatominae (b). Proposed TWO new subgenera. (c).
