Biography
Born in Agricultural family, I pursued my education in Agricultural science and completed Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Breeding and Genetics (2005). From 2005 to 2016, I have worked in Japan in various levels starting from Post-Doc to Associate Professor. I have managed wheat genetics and genomics related projects and guided students of all levels (Under-graduate, Post-graduate, Doctoral and trainees). In order to apply the knowledge into society, I worked in a project (2011-2016) by applying phenomics and genomics knowledge to improve the wheat germplasm for Afghanistan. Also got experience in International Agriculture research by working in ICARDA (International Centre for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas) and collaborating with CIMMYT (International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center).
