Biography
Dr. Rathie obtained M. Sc. (1976) from University of Rajasthan and Ph. D. (1981) from University of Rajasthan. He has 33 years teaching experience of degree level and 22 years of post-graduate level. Before joining Central University of Kerala as a visiting faculty in October 2011, Dr. Rathie worked as Principal of Vedant College of Engineering College, Tulsi, Bundi(Rajasthan State) affiliated to the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, Rajasthan. He specialises in the following areas: Special Functions, Generalized Hypergeometric Series, Ramanujan’s work. At present he is engaged in the active research with foreign Professors and visited South Korea, Oman, Canada, Japan and Brazil for research activities and presented several invited talks and seminars. So far he has published over 180 research articles & produced 14 Ph.D. students. At present, 02 students are working for Ph.D. under his guidance.

Special Functions, Generalized hypergeometric series with applications in Ramanujan's work.
